Conecuh County’s retail and retail recruitment is focused on the Interstate 65 exits. The county has 5 existing interstate exits beginning as Mile Marker 77 and extending to MM 101. Currently Exits 93 and 96 have full utilities supporting immediate development opportunities.
Exit 93 is anchored by Luv’s Truck Stop, Shell and Liberty-branded convenience stores. All available land at this exit is within a designated Opportunity Zone.
Exit 96 features the Liberty Hill retail area which includes Tesla Supercharger Station, Hardee’s, McDonald’s, Shrimp Basket, The Shack, Subway, KFC/Taco Bell, Wendy’s, Waffle House, and Zaxbys restaurants, as well as, a Piggly Wiggly Grocery and a Sleep Inn Hotel. Coming Winter 2024- Hampton Inn.
Adjacent assets include Conecuh Sausage Retail Store, the Econo Lodge, Quality Inn, and Evergreen Inn and Suites. Fuel stops include Spirit Travel Center, Shell and Chevron-branded convenience stores.
